About Joy
I have been tutoring for nearly 4 years and taught in class for 3 years before doing this full time.
I have some students who I see every week day and others that I see once a week or on a required basis.
I offer Summer programmes which parents find most useful if they are taking their child out of school to go on holiday. The transition back into class is often seamless.
GCSE Maths and 11+/Transfer Test are major components of what I teach towards and students often see a spike in their grades.

I like to keep the lessons fun and interactive, especially for younger learners. They often find themselves doing hands on activities rather than computer based activities throughout the lesson. They participate in grouped activities such as writing a book to be printed.
Maths to GCSE level is fast moving, we don't spend longer than required on a single topic but do come back regularly to recap, I find this works best especially with reluctant students.
