About Gerson
I strive to make my lessons relevant and meaningful by connecting them to real-world scenarios whenever possible. This can help students understand the practical implications and applications of what they're learning, which can further enhance their interest and engagement.
Prior to my roles in academia, I have worked as a former project manager and business analyst in the Canadian financial sector for more than 10 years. I also taught in the Philippines at the undergraduate and master level courses in business and management. In New Zealand, I worked as a research analyst for the Dame Mira Szászy Research Centre prior to being a full-time lecturer in Open Polytechnic.
