About Shalomi

Hello, I'm Shalomi. Whether your child is building confidence in primary school mathematics or preparing for the SAT, my goal is simple: to help every student reach their full potential through personalised, engaging, and results-driven tutoring.

With over 5 years of teaching experience and more than 1000 one-on-one tutoring sessions delivered, I have helped students strengthen their mathematical understanding, build academic confidence, and achieve strong examination results. One of my SAT students achieved a perfect score and became the highest-scoring student in their school, a result made possible through tailored coaching and consistent support.

I believe every student learns differently, and my approach focuses on understanding each learner's individual strengths and challenges. Lessons are structured, supportive, and designed to make progress measurable, so both students and parents can see real improvement over time.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is built around understanding how each individual student learns best, then designing lessons around their strengths rather than a one-size-fits-all method. For younger learners, I focus on building strong mathematical foundations through interactive, hands-on problem-solving that keeps lessons engaging rather than repetitive. For SAT students, I use a strategic, test-focused methodology: targeted content review, timed practice tests, and detailed performance analysis to identify and close gaps quickly.

Lessons typically run 60 minutes, with regular progress updates and homework support between sessions so learning continues outside our lesson time.

I have over 5 years of tutoring experience and have delivered more than 1000 one-on-one sessions. One of my SAT students achieved a perfect score and became the top-scoring student in their school, a result of consistent, tailored preparation.

I work with Primary school students (Years 1–6) building core maths skills, as well as older students preparing for the SAT, including SAT Maths and SAT Reading & Writing. All lessons are conducted online, so I can work with students across the UK.
