About Jennifer
I am currently a therapist for children and young adults with autism, and I teach them life skills (i.e, making their bed, preparing a meal, vocational skills, hygene, etc.). I have been doing this for about 5 years, and I am currently pursuing a masters degree in applied behavior analysis with an emphasis on autism.
I graduated college with a bachelors degree in communications specializing in journalism. In addition, I worked as an editor for a national business magazine and interned for a reputable news organization in NYC, where I assisted with on-air scripts. As a result, I have extensive knowledge with AP style writing.
Seeing results in the work that I do is the best part of my job - when the child is doing things independently due to the determination that I instill into what I do.
