I have 5 years' experience tutoring in the sciences and mathematics, working both through agencies and volunteer work with schools. My method is identifying the key topics, that come up frequently that the students struggle with and working on these to secure the understanding before moving on to something new. I also teach exam technique and use a lot of past paper questions to make sure that students not only understand the theory but how to approach the questions.
