About Amanda
Personalized tailor made instruction to fit your personal goals of wellness and healing. I am a yoga alliance certified education provider and host trainings for professionals in the field to fine tune their craft. I teach a brand spectrum of students including elders up to age 103, wounded warriors and veterans, prisoners and at risk populations, middle aged professionals with high stress occupations, animals-( dogs horses and whales) and young people with disciplinary challenges, as well as anyone with a desire to learn a new art like yoga, meditation or reiki.

I start slow with my students and build inner confidence, we work on breath and meditation and movements harmonizing these three elements. Depending on the students goals the path we take evolves organically guided by a spirit of mindful awareness and ancient techniques from the yogic eight limbed path, light work, astrology (if ones religion permits), natural influences like lunar cycles and Taoist beliefs of yin yang balance.

Just be open and honest. Sometimes it's scary to open up and it's ok to go slow. If you have any medical issues or discomfort it is a great idea to let your teacher know so they can better guide your practice. Everybody is different so a few guiding words can help a teacher work with you more effectively
