About Stephany

Stress, unhappiness, and anxiety are rampant in our lives, yoga gives practioners a chance to slow down and find enjoyment and equanimity!

I teach a several of types of yoga primarily Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, and more relaxing styles such as Reiki infused yoga practices.

I've taught a variety of students of all ages and backgrounds and have enjoyed be a continuous learner at Samadhi Yoga. I am eager to help others on their journey towards a more fulfilling and peaceful life.

Aside from being Yoga alliance certified, I am also a certified Reiki instructor. I feel that Reiki and Yoga work very well together and can be very beneficial for injured students or anyone working on their mental/emotional well-being. I'm also CPR/AED certified and have passed several anatomy courses so I possess a strong understanding of the human anatomy and physiology and how best to keep the body safe.

About the lesson

Every client is different, so I like to start every working relationship with a 15-30 minute consultation so that I can learn how best to server new students, and they in turn ask any question they may have and know what to expect from me. After that I work with students to establish a program that will best help then to meet their goals in the shortest times possible.

I have worked with a wide variety of yoga practitioners. From beginner to advanced level yogis and even those who had never tried yoga before. I know a lot of powerlifters who I have been able to help incorporate more stretching into their routines. I've also worked with gymnast and runners to help keep then healthy and limber.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
If you have a prefer style of yoga defiantly ask if the teacher has experience teaching that style. I would also check to make sure that teachers have a good understanding of how to keep you safe. Can the work with injuries? And do they understand the human body? Finally, I would say the most important thing is general compatibility. I always take time to meet with new students before we begin lessons to ensure that we can work together effectively.

Details

I teach 60-90 minutes lessons for both individuals and small groups. Individual lessons start at $50 and small groups (between 2-5 people) being at $75.
