About Teresa

I am a mindfulness coach that teaches yoga and meditation to other while also providing life coaching services. I have a MS in counseling and I am a certified 200 hour registered yoga teacher. I opened this business to help people reduce stress and build strength and mobility into their life mindfully.

I enjoy deepening my students' awareness in mindfulness to regulating emotions and reducing stress so they can find happiness and satisfaction in their life.

I like working with my students' so they can reach their goals in life. I build a customized program with each student so they can maximize their experience in their classes with me.

In 2015, I started teaching at the community college level for a college success skills class and knew guiding and teaching are what I love to do. In 2017, after being a student of yoga for 10 years, I took classes to teach yoga because I always had an interest for being a yoga teacher and immediately fell in love with meditation.

I have a MS in Counseling with a 200 hour certification in teaching yoga and Reiki Energy Healing Practitioner. I love combining both of these trainings so I can provide a holistic approach compared to a one way approach.

About the lesson

I like to set up time to chat with my students to discover their expectations and goals. I love to create common ground and understand what the student would like to achieve. Once we get the logistics and I understand their goals, I customize their meditation/mindulfness/yoga program. Maybe we utilize a little movement into mindfulness or meditation sessions, or practice journaling after our yoga classes, it all depends on the students' goals and their needs.
