About Mandy

I teach private yoga for people who want to know how to get out of pain.

I was inspired to teach yoga because I loved how it made my body feel. I took the Yogafit teacher training and began teaching an evening class at a gym in my town.

8 years of yoga teaching. A Level 1 teaching certification from Yogafit and a Yoga Therapy Intensive with renown kinesiologist, Susi Hately.

About the lesson

I listen to what is bothering them in their body and then I listen to what their goals are (what they want to change/improve). Then we start with some gentle movements and stretches...through their movements we learn what is working well and what isn't. Then we start a gentle process of reducing unhelpful patterns (compensations) and improving their body function. It's a joyful exploration of the unique needs of their body.

All types. Yogis, non-yogis, people in pain, younger people (30s) and older people (70s-80s). All of them were people who wanted to feel better in their bodies and I help them do that.

My typical client is someone experiencing body aches and pains, is between the age of 50-70 and wants to know how to move better so they don't keep hurting themselves.
