About Dina-Marie
I provide ongoing support and guidance as you set goals and make sustainable changes that improve your health and happiness.
I enjoy teaching students stress management techniques through yoga and meditation.
I became interested in teaching after recovering from an injury. I fell down a flight of stairs and landed on my hip 17 times. After 8 months of not being able to bend my leg, I decided to take a restorative yoga class once a week. After three months I was able to practice yoga without the use of any props. When I realized how therapeutic yoga was and how it helped me, I couldn't t wait to become an instructor so I could help others.

I prefer to speak to new students and discuss what it is they are looking to gain from their practice and make sure I am a good fit for their needs.
Beginner and Intermediate
If you are not sure about the style of teaching, give it a try anyway. You might be surprised and find you might really enjoy it. It might also offer or open up new challenges to help you learn and grow in a different way. Be a yes to new ideas!
I teach yoga twice a week at an apartment community. Most of my students have never practiced yoga prior to my class. I love to see the progress in each of my students from week to week and to hear the excitement in their voice when they overcome a challenge in their practice.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Does the student have any injuries, current or prior?
Does the student have any back pain?
Does the student have any joint pain?
Answering these questions will help the instructor in providing modifications so that the student doesn't incur any additional injury.

I attend the community yoga class offered at my apartment complex and instructed by Dina. She provides detailed instruction and an easy to follow flow. She is attentive and focuses on proper formation. I know I am in good hands!
