About Jenay

Jenay Rose (aka @namastejenay) is a yoga teacher and wellness influencer in Los Angeles.

With a degree from USC, she is now a Yoga Alliance registered teacher 200hr and is currently obtaining her advanced training with Yogaworks.

She is well-versed in teaching yoga, meditation, and mindfulness. She teaches yoga for flexibility, fitness, weight-loss, pain, injury recovery, tightness, anxiety, and more.

I was increidbly successful in my corporate job with one of the largest brands in the world, but I was left unfulfilled. I had become incredibly passionate about yoga and began to change my life in every way! I decided it was time to follow my passion for health and wellness, and became a yoga instructor teaching at studios, with exclusive hotels and private clients in Los Angeles.

About the lesson

Classes are 60 minute sessions, twice a week minimum. Schedule is open and flexible, Jenay works around her clients schedule and comes to them.

The client and Jenay will debrief over the phone or in person to go over goals, injuries, and fitness history. They will take each lesson as it comes, tweaking and customizing to ensure the client achieves their goals and feels better and better after each class

I have worked with students of all kinds. Currently, many of my clients are between 40-60 years old and are working on flexibility and pain management.

A recent client of mine could not fold forward comfortably or even walk a block without stopping to sit down. He is now almost touching his toes, and walks 10 blocks every Saturday completely pain-free and ecstatic. It is results like these that keeps me passionate about what I do!

I think it's incredibly important for a student to feel comfortable and trust the teacher that they want to work with.

Get to know the teacher, perhaps meet at a neutral location for coffee or for a mini intro session that's just 30 minutes intead of a full class time. This way you can get a feel for the way they speak, their yoga queues, and overall aesthetic. If you feel confident and empowered, it might be a great fit!

Depending on location, pricing ranges between $100-$200 per hour. Classes are custom, and in the comfort of your own home. Jenay is also available for corporate classes.
