About Shannon
I own the countries first ever wellness studio INSIDE a 34' RV. Hence the name, Mobile OM. I can bring the RV to any private home or office setting for services. Movement based classes can house 6 students. For workshops or other style of classes, the RV can hold more. I'm a Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) and work with a variety of ailments/diagnoses. I've been teaching since 2011 and have numerous certifications. Some of those include but aren't limited to: children's yoga, family yoga, yoga for differently-abled children and teens, senior and chair yoga, trauma informed, yoga for addiction, yoga for cancer, pre and postnatal, yoga in schools, aqua yoga, and more! I've led children's yoga teacher trainings with international non-profit Go Give Yoga to serve the Appalachian area of WV. Served as an ambassador for local non profit, Project Yoga Richmond, teaching studio classes and in outreach programs. Last year the NFL team NY Jets hired me for teaching yoga to their team while training in Richmond. Taught at a Mexico retreat in 2017. Gave a presentation for Aging w/disabilities discussing yoga, yoga therapy and wellness. I continue to teach yoga in various schools and senior living facilites as well as serve as a wellness coordinator for a local wellness center scheduling various wellness related classes and workshops.
