About Kathryn

My style is super approachable for anyone who wants to begin yoga. I make sure to explain to you the anatomy and philosophy behind our practice so that you have a complete understanding of why we do what we do. My background as a classroom teacher and education researcherhave helped me to have a very clear understanding of how to tailor each lesson to you!

My practice is founded on alignment-based yoga, body weight exercises, Taoist energy cultivation, pelvic floor toning, and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction.

Most of my clients are working to increase flexibility and reduce stress. I also work with clients for body sculpting, weight loss, pelvic floor/core rebuilding after childbrith (I'm a mom too!), and overcoming sexual dysfunction.

I teach clients at a private yoga studio in Uptown. I have mats and all the props that we need.

After each session, I will email you a recap of our exercises, so that you can continue practicing on your own.

I love working with people, and sharing my knowledge of yoga in a fun and easy way!

I'm so grateful to practice yoga with people from all walks of life--professional athletes, world class artists, community centers, adult entertainers, school classrooms, Rabbis, seniors, and millenials--I truly believe that yoga is for every body!

I also am a lifelong student, and am so grateful for the opportunity to pass on the knowledge that I'm ever receiving. From the neuroscience of meditation, to esoteric connections between the arches of the foot and pelvic floor, it's truly my honor to help you connect more deeply with your yoga practice in every way.

About the lesson

Yoga lessons offered by Kathryn are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Minneapolis. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.
