About Joy

Hi friends I’m Joy and I’m here to let you know that you can change life at any age! I started practicing yoga for several reasons: for depression, anxiety, stretching and for something new. I always was drawn to yoga. I had joined several live classes however, I felt isolated and odd. I wasn’t as flexible; I didn’t know the Pose names and it made me feel kind insecure. So, I started my yoga journey through YouTube. From there I found an instructor and I have taken several Zoom and Live stream classes. I never dreamed I would be an Instructor.

I am a current PhD student for Hygienic Nutrition and Health. I decided to take a small detour to follow this fun and beautiful practice that will pair perfectly, when I start my wellness center. During 2020 and 2021 I submerged myself in several “alternative” health practices. To create a Wholistic approach to health and wellbeing.

I am local in the East Mountain Area and will cater to, Estancia and other Local Surrounding areas. I want to help those who are curious about Yoga but need a starting point where they feel valued and heard. I will tailor my style to your needs.

I have practiced yoga personally for 5 years and have been and instructor for a year. I have recently completed my 300hr Yoga Certification and now I am a 500hr Trained Yoga Certified Instructor. I’d love to help you with your journey!

This path helps my personal growth as well as helping you! I love yoga, it's a beautiful fun practice anyone can do at any age. I will answer questions and help you achieve your goal.

About the lesson

I will give detailed instructions and Hands on adjustments if needed. I will usually have a conversation with my clients prior to meeting and gain perspective of what you are looking to work. I will ask you what your experience level is and will tailor my sequence to your needs.

I have worked with "never" done yoga students, elderly students and Beginner/Level 1 students. I would classify myself as a Level 1 experienced instructor.

Please let me know your skill level so I can tailor my session with you. We will have a meet and greet prior to our session.

Details

Standard 90-minute Yoga session = $100 add another person, price will drop to $75 each. Max 3 people for private session price will be $65 each.

Standard 60-minute Yoga session = $79 add another person, price will drop to $59 each. Max 3 people for private session price will be $49 each.

Reiki Crystal Energy sessions run $55 for a 1/2 an hour session.

Nutrition advice will be given as soon as I acquire my Bachelor's degree as I will be certified as a Natural practitioner.
