Hi, thanks for checking out my profile! I'm Tara, a professional vocalist for over the past 10 years and 1:1 music teacher for the past 5 teaching ages 4-adult.

Whether you're looking to learn how to match a pitch and sing for the first time, wanting to further develop your natural talent into something that can make you money or just wanting to impress the co-workers at your next karaoke work function, singing brings joy to everyone and I absolutely adore getting to be a part of my students' musical journeys.

I have been a professional vocalist since 2010, traveling the world singing before landing in Brooklyn NYC in 2013.

About the lesson

We start out with a conversation about your vocal goals, past experience, pain points and musical inspirations.

In the first lesson I like to assess the student's familiarity with the breath and how it helps us to sing, student's high and low end of vocal range, interest in learning to read music, sight-sing or ear-train and how exactly the student plans to bring their newfound vocal knowledge into their lives!

From there, a personalized lesson plan is created to help the students meet his/her goals as a singer.
