About Randy

I offer a thorough assessment from a holistic foundation based on scientific evidence. In addition I have over 30 years experience in both mental health counseling and internal martial arts training blending somatic, psychological, and energetic arts.

I love it when my clients become advocate students who graduate to self-mastery for optimal health.

My interest in teaching began when I assisted my martial arts master with his classes. As time evolved and I included mental health counseling along with my teaching background in ESL, I created a unique combination of teaching modules to help the beginner as well as the advanced students.

My doctorate is in counseling psychology with an emphasis on organization development. My work spans 30 years in a number of areas. I've worked as a psychotherapist, taught internal martial arts, worked with autistic children, and helped startup companies build out their company mission. My current focus is to help clients with chronic pain, multiple sclerosis and substance abuse prevention.

About the lesson

Starting with a 15 minute phone call we chat and get an overview of your needs and how we can work together.

During our first phase our goal sets the foundation so you begin to mentally and physically feel the power of the meditative Qigong postures leading to better concentration, improved energy, and better overall health.

In order to benefit from your steady progress, I will give you feedback to help your sense of being grounded, which is essential to build up life force energy. Then I follow up by helping to remove obstacles that may come up either in thoughts, or in physical limitations.

Details

I offer a package of ten (10) sessions. Each session can be either one hour or nintey minutes. In the 90 minute sessions the client gets to include mental health counseling in addition to the qigong practices. If the client wishes a one hour session, the focus will be on qigong training.
