About Sandra

I am Sandra Yañez founder of namaschair. I became a certified yoga teacher at Peachtree Yoga Center in Atlanta GA in 2012. My teacher with Professor Graham Fowler has been a great inspiration for my practice of yoga and meditation and I have continued my studies over the years. Today I am accredited for 500 hours of advanced yoga. I am also a certified yoga teacher, children's yoga and chair yoga. I have had the honor of mentoring three promotions of yoga teachers at Peachtree Yoga Center and I am currently pursuing my next certification in Yoga Medicine. With my teacher I learned meditation, and this practice I take wherever it is needed.

Other courses I have completed include yoga for children, corporate yoga and chair yoga. These latter versions of yoga have been the inspiration for my new venture namaschair.

I also studied tourism business administration and worked in global companies in training and project management positions which has given me a vast experience in managing teams with diverse talents, cultures, personalities and with whom I have learned to adapt the practice of namaschair in the work place.

I am very grateful to all my bosses who always allowed me to include my yoga tools in the work environment, and that helped me enormously in the creation of wellness programs for companies and individuals.

About the lesson

I speak with the client about their goals and why they want to do you and based on that I do begin to introduce the different elements of the practice. This could be breath wor, yoga poses (using a chair, a wall or blocks) and then the full pose on the mat as well as relaxation tecniques. My focus. Giving them options that will let them see that there is always a possibility for them. It just take time, patience and love for yourself to begin this beautiful jorney and I am feel honor to help you in your goals
