About Kerry

Not only am I a certified Vinyasa teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience, but I specialize in Fertility Yoga, Prenatal, Post Natal, and Restorative Yoga. I've travelled the world and learned from some of the best and most respected teachers in the industry. I would be honoured to support you in any way that you need, whether it is before, during, or after your preganacy - or you simply want a fantastic vinyasa practice tailored to your body and your desires. What I love best about teaching yoga is to watch the transformation of students right before my eyes - whether it is a simple retreat to within or accomplishing poses thought to be out of reach.

I endeavor to provide a relaxed environment where people can feel comfortable with themselves and where they are in their practices. Mindful movement, alignment, and thoughtful sequencing are the foundations of my classes, while a down-to-earth and light-hearted attitude set the tone for play and self exploration.

200RYT - Frog Lotus International Vidya Heisel and Jen Yarro

85RPYT - Om Births with Bec Conant

Fertility Yoga Teacher - Family Passages - Sue Dumais

I have a BA in Psychology as well as an Associate's degree in Outdoor Recreation Management. I've led an interesting life full of travel and adventure! I was an Outward Bound instructor in Australia and Canada and was also a Backcountry Ranger and Outdoor Ed Teacher in Canada. I've lived on a sail boat in the Pacific Northwest and lived in Germany for 7 years!

I came to yoga after teaching Pilates for a couple of years and wanted to expand my training. I completed my 200hour YTT with Vidya Heisel and Jen Yarro with Frog Lotus Yoga in 2008. I studied and mentored with Bec Conant of Om Births for my prenatal and post natal training, and I am now a Ceritified Om Births Instructor and 85hr RPYT. Fertility Yoga became a passion for me after experienceing 3 years of infertility - I founded and developed Fertile Body Yoga and am honored to teach the yoga classes at the Mind/Body program at the Domar Center in Boston.

Before I even begin a private lesson, I take the time to speak and email with the client directly to make sure that we are on the same page about their reasons for seeking private instruction, as well as their expectations. This is also a nice way to get to know my students before hand so that our relationship is already forming. We discuss where and when and how much!
