About
Asheville Community Yoga in Asheville, NC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, donation-based yoga and healing arts center focused on making yoga accessible to all. It offers nearly 100 weekly classes for all levels, including Gentle, Vinyasa Flow (Levels I & II), Warm and Hot, Yin, Prenatal, Yoga for Seniors, Meditation, and Qigong. Mats and props are provided at no charge. Class donations are suggested at $10–$20, and those who cannot pay are welcome to practice.
The center provides teacher education through a 250-hour Yoga Teacher Training, an Immersion Program, and continuing education courses, along with specialty workshops and community events. Financial aid is available for trainings and workshops, and pre-recorded video classes extend access beyond the studio. Youth and family programming, including camps, is also offered.
Asheville Community Yoga is 100% community funded, with many teachers offering their time through Seva Yoga. The campus includes affordable pre-loved clothing to further support accessibility. The facility is handicap accessible with ample parking and is located just minutes from downtown Asheville.
