Want to get more from your camera, improve your images, or finally tackle the photography skills you’ve been meaning to learn?

Lisa & Tom Cuchara offer personalized, one-on-one photography tutoring designed around YOU.

Whether you’re just getting started or you’re an experienced photographer looking to master a specific technique, tutoring is customized to your interests, equipment, experience level, and goals.

Topics can include:

• Understanding your camera and settings
• Getting off Auto and taking control of your images
• Autofocus, exposure, metering, and custom camera setup
• Birds, wildlife, macro and close-up photography
• Night photography, light painting, and long exposures
• Landscapes, travel, street, sports, kids, and action
• Creative photography techniques
• Lightroom, Photoshop, and post-processing
• Organizing your images and developing an efficient workflow
• Image review and constructive critique
• Preparing images for competition
• Or virtually any photography topic you’d like to explore

Tutoring can be done via Zoom, in our studio, or on location, depending on what you want to learn.

You don’t need to fit into a predetermined class or curriculum. We start with what you want to accomplish and build the instruction around you.
The first 30-minute lesson is typically a phone call or Zoom session to determine what the photographer would like to learn, what kind of tutoring would be best (Zoom, in person, on location), what gear they have, what subjects they want to become proficient in (camera settings, post-processing,m worksflow and or specific genres like kids, sports, Birds, street, travel, macro, night, etc.), how to meet (Zoom, Studio, on location). etc.

Your photography. Your goals. Your pace.
