About Brian
I hold myself to high standards of communication and professionalism in dealing with students. I hold a bachelor's degree in mathematics from UC Santa Cruz and graduated with honors. Additionally, I have extensive experience teaching and tutoring, and right now I work as a math teacher in the Bay Area.

I strive to develop my lessons with a balance of empathy and rigor. A typical lesson plan includes a short lecture, practice/example problems, and a review of the material to ensure retention. I make sure to develop in my students, not just an understanding of the material, but a genuine passion for it and its applications. My classes are aimed toward high school students and below.
