About Hriday

Hello! I'm Hriday, a UK-based Computing educator with over three years of university teaching experience and a passion for helping students build strong foundations in Computer Science and Programming.

I have taught more than 250 students at UK universities, including Bath Spa University in London, where I delivered modules in Data Structures, Algorithms, Programming, Databases, Statistics, and Data Science. I have also supervised university dissertations and mentored students with diverse learning backgrounds, helping them improve both their academic performance and confidence.

I hold an MSc in Business Analytics from Aston University, am an Associate Fellow of Advance HE (AFHEA), and will be pursuing a PhD in Computing at Birmingham City University. My research focuses on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and next-generation computing technologies, ensuring my teaching reflects the latest developments in the field.

Before entering academia, I worked as a Business Central Analyst, gaining practical industry experience with Python, SQL, data analytics, and enterprise software. This enables me to teach concepts with real-world examples and prepare students for both examinations and future careers.

I work with school students (CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, IB, and Cambridge), engineering and university students, as well as working professionals who want to improve their programming or data science skills. Whether you're preparing for board exams, university assessments, coding interviews, or simply want to learn programming from scratch, I tailor every lesson to your goals and pace.

My teaching style is patient, structured, and highly interactive. I focus on building conceptual understanding, problem-solving skills, and coding confidence rather than rote learning. My aim is to help every student become an independent learner who can apply computing concepts with confidence.

About the lesson

Whether you're preparing for exams, learning to code for the first time, or looking to strengthen your computer science skills, I tailor each lesson to your individual goals and level of experience.

My teaching approach is student-centred, practical, and interactive. Rather than focusing on memorisation, I help students develop a solid understanding of core concepts through clear explanations, real-world examples, and hands-on exercises. I encourage questions throughout the lesson and adapt my pace to ensure every topic is fully understood before moving on.

A typical lesson begins with a brief review of previous material, followed by the introduction of new concepts. We then work through guided examples together before practising with exercises or coding tasks. At the end of each session, I summarise the key points and provide additional practice or resources where appropriate.

As a PhD candidate with professional university teaching experience in London, UK, I bring both academic expertise and practical teaching experience to every lesson. My aim is not only to help students achieve excellent grades but also to build confidence, problem-solving skills, and independent thinking.

I teach students of all levels, including school pupils (class 10th - class 12th), undergraduate university students, adult learners, and anyone interested in learning programming, computing, or computer science from beginner to advanced level.
