About Briar
Offering excellent tutoring services for all looking to improve in reading, writing, math and all other subject areas this summer!
I am currently attending Brock University and am enrolled in the Child and Youth Studies Program. I have excellent teaching and tutoring knowledge. I have been tutoring for the past 5 years within over 4 different organizations such as, Family and Children's Services, Brock Learning Lab, Bishop MacDonell Catholic High School, and St. Michael Catholic School. I have tutored a variety of age groups, ranging from Grade 1 or 2- Grade 10. I have also been fortunate to tutor several students with learning disabilities, which has increased my abilities as a tutor.
I have also been volunteering with children and students for over 8 years, and very much enjoy working with children and youth. I would love to aid any students looking for practice or tutoring help over the summer!

Through the extensive experience which I have gained from tutoring in both a job and volunteer aspect, I am able to effectively encourage and coach a student through their learning process. I also have excellent resources and strategies for teaching which I have acquired and adapted throughout my years of tutoring.
