About Ethan
Over 10 years of teaching violin has given me the opportunity to help teenagers and working professionals develop confidence through music. My lessons combine encouragement, discipline, and creativity to make learning enjoyable while supporting long-term musical development.
I enjoy helping students overcome challenges by breaking complex techniques into simple, achievable steps. Lessons strengthen bowing techniques, finger placement, intonation, rhythm, sight reading, tone production, and musical expression through patient instruction and consistent practice.
Every learner has unique goals, so I personalize my teaching to suit individual needs and aspirations. Whether preparing for performances or learning for personal fulfillment, I provide supportive guidance that encourages confidence, independence, and continuous improvement.

Lessons cover posture, bow hold, bowing techniques, finger placement, intonation, shifting, vibrato, rhythm, sight reading, ear training, tone production, and music theory.
