About Louis
Seeing students play confidently after weeks of practice is one of the best rewards of teaching violin. With 11 years of teaching experience, I have guided beginners and adult students through lessons that focus on steady improvement and practical learning.
My aim is to help students understand every technique before moving forward. By improving bow control, finger placement, rhythm, tone production, intonation, and musical expression, students gain the confidence to perform comfortably and continue learning independently.
Every student has different ambitions, so I adapt my teaching methods to match their goals and learning style. Whether preparing for performances or learning for personal enjoyment, I provide guidance, encouragement, and honest feedback throughout every lesson.

Learning the violin takes patience, and every lesson is designed to make that journey enjoyable and rewarding. Students learn through demonstrations, guided practice, and carefully planned exercises that build confidence while improving technique in a supportive learning environment.
Lessons include posture, bow hold, finger placement, bowing techniques, intonation, shifting, vibrato, rhythm, sight reading, ear training, tone production, music theory, and performance skills. Practical exercises and musical pieces help students improve accuracy, coordination, and expressive playing over time.
Students receive detailed feedback, home practice suggestions, and regular progress discussions after every lesson. Whether preparing for auditions, examinations, concerts, or learning for personal enjoyment, lessons help students build strong foundations while enjoying steady improvement with the violin.
