Hi, I’m Nicola. I hold a Bachelor of Music and have several years of experience teaching violin to students of all ages and levels. I’m passionate about creating a calm, supportive environment where students can grow in skill and confidence. Whether you're learning for fun, school, exams or personal development, I bring patience, structure and enthusiasm to every lesson. I take a supportive, student-centred approach to violin teaching, adapting each lesson to suit the learner’s age, level and goals. I focus on building strong foundational technique, musicality and confidence through a mix of scales, repertoire, and creative exercises. Lessons are typically 30 to 60 minutes long and can include music theory, aural skills or musical history if desired. I hold a Bachelor of Music and have experience teaching children, teens and adults, from complete beginners to more advanced players preparing for exams or performance. Whether you're just starting out or returning to the violin, I aim to make learning enjoyable, encouraging and tailored to your pace.
