About Nora
I have over 5 years of experience as a singing tutor and hold a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Vocal Performance. I specialize in working with adult beginners, hobbyists, and those returning to singing after a break. Whether you sing in community choirs, enjoy karaoke, or want to feel comfortable in social settings, I create a low-pressure, encouraging space for you to learn and grow. My teaching focuses on breathwork, vocal relaxation, posture, and mindfulness in music. These elements help develop a strong, healthy tone and build confidence. I teach a variety of styles including Jazz, Folk, Blues, and Contemporary Adult music. I’m passionate about helping people discover singing as a form of self-care and creative expression. Singing can be a joyful way to boost your confidence and connect with others. No matter your experience or age, it’s never too late to start or restart your singing journey. My teaching approach is designed to prepare singers thoroughly for auditions and live performances. I focus on building confidence and managing performance anxiety so students can perform at their best under pressure. Choosing the right repertoire is an important part of my method, ensuring each song highlights your strengths and fits the audition requirements.
I work closely with adult beginners and advanced teens, helping them develop strong vocal technique and stage presence. Lessons include practical exercises to improve breath control, pitch accuracy, and emotional connection to songs. I also teach how to communicate the story behind the music, which makes performances more powerful.
We practice audition scenarios to build comfort and readiness. I provide clear, supportive feedback and tailor each lesson to your goals. Together, we develop the skills needed to impress judges and audiences alike. My goal is to help you walk into any audition feeling prepared and confident.
