About Laurie
I have a BA in Elementary Education and a Master's in Supervision and Administration. I also have 3 daughters ranging from 13-28 who are excellent students- so I know the challenge of working with teens.
I love literature and have a passion for teaching writing to students in a proven method that takes the anxiety and stress out of writing, and gives them a clear pathway to start any essay or written assignment. I even helped my husband write his doctorate capstone.

My name is Laurie and I have been teaching middle school ELA for over 25 years. I can help your student achieve success in analyzing literature and translating that information into well written essays. My specialty is teaching writing and working with upper elementary student to high school sophomores. My students learn amazing tricks to make ELA interesting and engaging and take the anxiety out of the work at hand.
