About Ananya

About the lesson

I am a Biology tutor with over 10 years of experience and a BSc in Human Biology. My passion lies in guiding students through the fascinating world of microbial ecology and the human microbiome. Microbes may be unseen, but their impact on our lives is immense.

I specialize in teaching how microbial diversity shapes ecosystems, influences health, and drives biogeochemical cycles. From gut flora symbioses to soil bacteria, I help students see the connections between microorganisms and the larger systems they sustain. These tiny organisms are the engines of nutrient recycling, disease resistance, and even climate regulation.

My lessons combine clear explanations with real-world applications so students can fully appreciate how microbes influence health and disease. I encourage curiosity by linking abstract theories to current research in medicine, environmental science, and biotechnology.
