About Sundeep

I am a SENCO in my current role and a previous Head of Sixth Form and Business Studies teacher with 17 years of experience helping students succeed in GCSE, BTEC and A-Level Business. I hold a Business degree from De Montfort University and a PGCE in Business & Economics from UCL Institute of Education.
I’m also an Examiner for Edexcel and BTEC Level 3, giving me a unique insight into how to help students write top-mark answers.
My tutoring is based on trust, adaptability and results — I take time to understand each student’s learning style so that they feel confident and supported.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is built on three key pillars: trust, adaptability, and results. I believe that for effective learning to take place, a student must first feel comfortable, understood, and supported. That’s why I take the time to get to know each individual learner — their strengths, challenges, and preferred learning style. By creating a positive and encouraging environment, I help students build confidence in their abilities and develop a genuine interest in their subjects.

Adaptability is central to how I teach. Every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to suit their specific needs. Whether a student thrives with visual aids, benefits from discussion-based learning, or needs step-by-step instruction, I adjust my methods accordingly. This flexibility ensures that each session is effective, engaging, and focused on making measurable progress.

My lessons are designed to be both interactive and structured. I begin by delivering content in an accessible and engaging way, using examples, discussions, and activities to ensure understanding. Once the core knowledge is in place, I provide clear, focused guidance on how to apply this knowledge in an exam context. This includes practising past papers, exploring mark schemes, and developing strong exam techniques — all essential for success.

Ultimately, my goal is to help students achieve their best possible results, while also developing the skills and confidence to become independent learners. I consistently monitor progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt our sessions based on evolving needs.

Whether I’m preparing a student for Business Studies exams or supporting a younger learner through the 11+ process, my commitment remains the same: to provide high-quality, personalised tuition that leads to real, lasting academic improvement.
