I propose using realistic topics with which to demonstrate clear and concise writing. These can be letters, proposals or reports. Outlines are usually helpful and then the structure of the work is laid out. It is also important to edit.
I have been a practicing attorney for 38 years and wrote thousands of letters, briefs and memos. It is important to utilize clear and concise writing to get a point across to the reader. This is accomplished by practice.
