About Daisy
I am a dedicated and passionate piano tutor with 19 years of professional teaching experience. During this time, I have successfully guided around 300 students, including high school learners, college students, and adults. My journey as a teacher has been focused on helping students build both musical skill and personal confidence.
My teaching philosophy is based on strong fundamentals and consistent progress. I believe that mastering posture, hand position, finger strength, scales, rhythm accuracy, and sight-reading creates a solid base for long-term success. I take time to explain each concept clearly so students understand not just what to play, but how and why they are playing it.
Each lesson is structured with clear goals. I include warm-up exercises, technical drills, music theory understanding, and repertoire development. I also guide students on how to practise effectively at home, helping them develop discipline and time management skills.
Many of my students have performed confidently in school concerts, recitals, and public programmes. Several have achieved excellent results in graded music examinations. Seeing students grow from beginners into confident performers is one of my greatest achievements. My mission is to inspire lifelong passion and excellence in piano.

My piano teaching approach combines communication, creativity, flexibility, and structured development. I believe learning piano should strengthen both technical ability and artistic expression. I clearly explain each concept and demonstrate correct technique to avoid bad habits. Communication helps build trust and steady improvement.
Creativity keeps students engaged through expressive playing and simple improvisation tasks. Flexibility allows me to adjust lesson content according to learning pace and interests. Along with piano performance, I teach music reading, theory, ear training, and chord progressions.
My aim is to nurture confident pianists who perform with accuracy, emotion, and deep musical understanding.
