About Nivya

Hi, I am Nivya, a fashion design and sewing tutor with 9 years of teaching experience.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Textile Science and Apparel Designing, along with a certification in Production Development and Manufacturing, which has helped me build strong technical knowledge of the fashion industry.

I enjoy making fashion design easy to learn by breaking concepts into simple, practical steps. My classes help students learn everything from sewing basics and pattern making to garment construction and creative design development.

My goal is to help every student learn confidently and turn their ideas into real designs.

About the lesson

Fashion and Sewing can be learned by anyone with the right guidance and practical approach.

My teaching methodology is simple, structured, and beginner-friendly, with step-by-step lessons designed to help students build confidence while learning both creative and technical skills.

For beginners, the course covers:
1. Hand sewing fundamentals.
2. Introduction to different hand embroidery techniques.
3. Basic fabric knowledge and material understanding.
4. Color theory for design.
5. Introduction to sewing machine operation.
6. Hands-on sewing projects for skill development
7. Practical assessments based on sewing or embroidery projects.

Through this lessons, students gain the skills needed to create their own designs while building a strong foundation in fashion and garment construction.
