About the lesson

I’m a dedicated French tutor with over 3 years of experience and a BA in French Cultural Policy and Arts Management. My academic background and passion for the French language have led me to specialize in advanced instruction, particularly for students delving into historical linguistics and Old French. I work closely with university students who are preparing for specialized research or tackling challenging coursework in early French texts.

My lessons often explore the richness of medieval literature, from the epic grandeur of La Chanson de Roland to the intricate narratives of chivalric romance. I guide students through the complexities of Old French grammar, phonological shifts, and semantic evolution, helping them grasp not only the language but also the cultural context behind it. Whether it’s parsing the syntax of a 12th-century poem or analyzing the influence of foundational authors, I provide focused and supportive instruction.
