About Moly
I love helping students discover the joy of playing guitar and guiding them towards their musical goals. With Master’s degrees in Music, I bring 11 years of teaching and performance experience to each lesson. I begin by focusing on fundamental skills like posture, finger placement, chord transitions, rhythm, strumming, and tone, then introduce improvisation, phrasing, and composition. Music theory is incorporated in a practical and approachable way, connected to songs students enjoy. Lessons are tailored to the student’s pace, goals, and learning style, fostering confidence and creativity.
I emphasise both technical proficiency and expressive playing, helping students communicate emotion through music. Ear training, sight-reading, and performance preparation are integrated to develop well-rounded musicianship. I encourage exploration across multiple genres, including classical, jazz, rock, blues, and pop. I provide structured practice routines, constructive feedback, and guidance to overcome challenges. My teaching balances discipline with fun, ensuring lessons are engaging and motivating. I celebrate milestones and encourage perseverance, patience, and curiosity. Students gradually develop technical mastery, performance confidence, and artistic expression. My goal is to help learners discover their own musical voice and play with creativity and authenticity. My teaching philosophy is simple—learn, feel, and play. With degrees in Music and 11 years of experience, I help students build solid technique and emotional expression. Every lesson is adapted to fit your level and musical taste. We start with rhythm patterns, chord transitions, and right-hand control. As you progress, I introduce scales, fingerstyle, and soloing techniques. Lessons combine structure with creativity, ensuring both fun and discipline. I integrate music theory to show how patterns and progressions shape great songs. Ear training and improvisation exercises strengthen musical awareness.
For performance-focused learners, I guide stage presentation and emotional connection. I believe every student deserves encouragement and individualised attention. You’ll receive feedback after every lesson to ensure steady progress. Whether you aim to perform, compose, or just enjoy playing, I’ll help you reach your goals.
