About Hilary

I am a recognized expert in Patternmaking, Draping, High-End Sewing & Sample Making, Custom Grading, All Handwork Crafts, Custom Dyeing, Primitive Pleating, Millinery, and Corsetry skills. Please contact me if you are interested in learning some high-end couture techniques, either for a specific project you have lined up or just in general for fun!

About the lesson

By infusing traditional couture techniques with a modern sensibility, you can bring your garment design projects to life by using techniques that are (sadly) dying off due to mass production. With over 40 years of work under my belt in the Fashion Development and Costuming industries, I can teach you how to create your designs in a way that displays a distinctive old-school flair that will get your work noticed by professionals!
