About Shrean

Successfully tutored five students over three years for their IGCSEs and A-levels, guiding students from early stages to build a strong foundation and spark interest in learning. Also taught crash courses to students with limited time before exams. I helped students master past papers, align themselves with mark schemes, and manage exam time effectively. I also worked as teacher's assistant in a coaching center. Furthermore, I have taught video editing to interns at my second job, and trained volunteers for the non-profit I volunteer for.

About the lesson

I personalize my style to the student's express needs. I use real-world examples to explain concepts intuitively, and the core understanding allows them to navigate every type of exam scenario and question. Nearer to the exams, I focus on past paper solving, mastering how to answer according to the mark scheme, preparing for all question types, and efficiently completing a paper within time limit.

I am able to connect with students and spark their curiosity. All my current students have gained an appreciation for the subjects they used to dislike. I rely on real-world examples and use cases, and making science relatable to each student. I also ensure students work hard, yet enjoying studying.
