About Naheed
Hi! I’m Naheed, an experienced Mathematics tutor with an M.Tech in Civil Engineering and over 10 years of teaching experience.
For the past several years, I have worked extensively with international students, particularly learners from the UK and Middle East. I have also collaborated with leading EdTech platforms, helping young and enthusiastic students build strong mathematical foundations, improve their confidence, and achieve excellent examination results.
My core specialization is IGCSE Mathematics and A Level Mathematics, including Pure Mathematics, Statistics, and Mechanics. I have experience teaching students following Cambridge, Pearson Edexcel, AQA and other international examination pathways.
My engineering background has further strengthened my analytical and problem-solving approach to Mathematics. I focus on making difficult concepts simple, logical, and easy to apply rather than asking students to simply memorize formulas.
My aim is not only to help students score better, but to make them confident and independent mathematicians who understand what they are doing and why it works.

My classes are completely personalized according to the student's current level, examination board, learning pace, and target grade.
I begin by identifying the student's strengths and areas that need improvement. We then follow a structured plan combining concept building, worked examples, guided practice, exam-style questions, and past-paper practice.
A typical lesson may include:
Quick revision of previously covered concepts
Clear, step-by-step explanation of the new topic
Worked examples and guided problem-solving
Increasingly challenging questions
Exam-style and past-paper questions
Discussion of common mistakes and how to avoid them
Exam techniques, time management, and mark-scheme strategies
Homework or personalized practice where required
For A Level Maths, I can teach Pure Mathematics, Statistics, and Mechanics, with particular attention to understanding concepts and applying them correctly in unfamiliar examination questions.
For IGCSE Maths, I focus on building strong foundations while developing the problem-solving and exam skills required to achieve high grades.
Whether a student is struggling with the basics, aiming to move from a middle grade to a top grade, or preparing for final examinations, I adapt the lesson accordingly.
My goal is simple: understand the Mathematics, practice intelligently, learn from mistakes, and walk into the exam with confidence.
