About Yue

Hi! I am a Master’s student at the University of Glasgow with a background in Bilingual Broadcasting and Hosting. I hold the official Broadcaster & Presenter Qualification Certificate and Mandarin Level 1-B (the national standard for TV anchors in China).

With years of experience coaching students for Broadcasting Art Media Entrance Exams, I specialise in accent correction and vocal techniques. My teaching style is relaxed and inspiring, focusing on shifting your oral thinking rather than just memorising rules.

Whether you are a child or an adult, I offer 60-minute sessions (online or in-person in Glasgow) designed to help you speak with the clarity and confidence of a professional broadcaster. Let's make your Mandarin sound authentic and beautiful!

About the lesson

As a professional bilingual broadcaster, my teaching goes beyond vocabulary. I focus on "Vocal Aesthetics & Precision." I use professional broadcasting warm-ups and ear-training techniques to help you master the four tones. My methodology is "Immersive & Reflective": I don't just correct your mistakes; I help you understand the oral mechanics (tongue and mouth positioning) to fix accents at the root. We will use real-life scenarios and media scripts to spark your "Mandarin Thinking."

My Qualifications & Experience
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Bilingual Broadcasting and Hosting and am certified at Level 1-B in Mandarin (PSC). I also possess the official Broadcaster & Presenter Qualification Certificate. I have professional experience coaching students for the Art Media Entrance Examination (Broadcasting & Hosting), which means I am an expert in high-pressure oral exams and public speaking.
