About Andrew

I am an Aerospace Engineering student at San Diego State University with a strong foundation in math and science. I have two years of experience tutoring high school students in Algebra, Calculus, and Physics, helping them build confidence and problem-solving skills. My technical background includes hands-on work with MATLAB, SolidWorks, and engineering systems, giving me a practical understanding of mathematical and scientific concepts. Additionally, my experience in engineering roles at AVI-SPL and Avidex has strengthened my analytical and problem-solving abilities. Through my tutoring, I focus on breaking down complex problems, explaining fundamental principles, and applying them to real-world scenarios to help students succeed.

About the lesson

In my lessons, I focus on breaking down complex problems using real-world examples to make concepts easier to understand. I guide students through each step, explaining the underlying principles and their applications. By connecting the problem to broader concepts, I help students develop a deeper understanding and the ability to tackle similar questions with confidence. My goal is to build problem-solving skills that go beyond memorization, ensuring students can apply what they learn to new and challenging scenarios.
