About Kaia
I am a Math tutor with over 5 years of experience and an MSc in Applied Mathematics. My teaching integrates chaos theory and fractal geometry to help students understand complex systems and patterns in nature. I make abstract concepts tangible by using visual examples, simulations, and real-world applications. I teach iterated functions, self-similarity, and strange attractors in ways that are engaging and easy to grasp. Lessons are interactive, encouraging curiosity and exploration. I work with students who are eager to see how mathematics connects with physics, biology, and other interdisciplinary sciences. I focus on breaking down challenging concepts into clear steps while fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I provide dedicated support for Exam Takers and Career Switchers, tailoring sessions to individual goals and needs. I emphasize understanding over memorization, helping students see patterns, make connections, and apply methods effectively. Assignments and practice problems are designed to strengthen both skills and confidence.
