About Nora
I am a Math tutor with over 5 years of experience and an MSc in Applied Mathematics. My teaching focuses on integrating chaos theory and fractal geometry into practical mathematics. I help students explore complex systems and natural phenomena through mathematical frameworks. I specialize in guiding learners through iterated functions, self-similarity, and strange attractors. Visual examples and interactive simulations are central to my teaching, making abstract ideas tangible. Students gain hands-on experience in observing patterns and unpredictability in real-world systems. I work with curious learners and those interested in interdisciplinary science, connecting mathematics to physics, biology, and environmental studies. My approach emphasizes exploration, critical thinking, and conceptual understanding over rote memorization. Through personalized guidance, students develop the ability to analyze complexity with confidence. I aim to cultivate mathematicians who appreciate both the rigor and the beauty of mathematical patterns. By the end of our journey, learners emerge as well-rounded, confident thinkers ready to tackle intricate problems.

My teaching approach in mathematics is centered on building a deep conceptual understanding. I focus on subjects like abstract algebra, number theory, mathematical proofs, and other advanced theoretical concepts. I guide students to explore these topics not just for exams, but to truly understand the logic behind them.
I encourage a gentle, reflective learning style, where students take time to absorb and question ideas. Complex theorems become approachable when broken into small, clear steps. I support DIY learners and researchers in discovering their own methods to tackle challenging problems. Together, we explore multiple perspectives and develop flexible thinking.
I emphasize reasoning over memorization, helping students see connections between different areas of mathematics. Assignments and exercises are used not just for practice, but as tools to spark curiosity and independent thought. Students are encouraged to experiment, test ideas, and gain confidence in their problem-solving skills.
My goal is to help students excel while discovering a new way to think mathematically. Learning becomes an exploration, and understanding grows naturally through guided discovery.
