About Josie
I am an experienced singing tutor with 8 years of teaching and work experience guiding school and college students in music. For me, teaching is more than just sharing knowledge; it is about inspiring students to discover their abilities and develop confidence in their voice. Over the years, I have worked with many students who began their journey with little singing experience.
Through regular practice, encouragement, and structured lessons, they improved their vocal skills and became confident performers. Many of them have participated in school concerts, college cultural events, and music competitions, which has been a proud milestone in my teaching career.
My teaching approach focuses on important vocal techniques such as breathing control, pitch accuracy, rhythm understanding, and vocal expression. I also encourage students to listen carefully to music and connect emotionally with the songs they sing.
By creating a positive and motivating learning environment, I help students enjoy the process of learning music while continuously improving their skills.

My singing teaching methodology focuses on flexibility, creativity, understanding, and time management to help students grow as confident singers. I believe a supportive and positive learning environment allows students to progress faster.
I begin lessons with vocal warm-ups and breathing exercises that prepare the voice for singing. Students then practise pitch control, tone development, and song interpretation. Creativity is encouraged in every lesson so students can explore their musical expression and connect with the songs emotionally. I also take time to understand each student’s challenges and provide patient guidance.
Time management ensures each session includes exercises, practice, and feedback. Besides singing, I can also teach rhythm practice, music theory basics, and performance preparation.
