About Bokamoso
Hi there! My name is Bokamoso Mabapa, and I am a passionate and dedicated tutor who truly believes that every student has the ability to succeed when given the right support. I may be a high school graduate, but I have spent the past few years working with learners of all levels, helping them improve their marks, build confidence, and discover that learning can actually be fun! I specialize in Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Natural Sciences, Mathematics, and Mathematical Literacy, and I offer lessons in English, Afrikaans, and Sesotho. My approach is warm, patient, and highly interactive — I focus on simplifying difficult concepts, breaking them down step by step, and making sure students truly understand before moving on. Students can expect a relaxed, encouraging environment where it’s safe to make mistakes, ask questions, and grow at their own pace. I believe in celebrating every small victory along the way, and I love seeing my students become more confident, independent learners. My approach to tutoring is simple: make learning exciting, relatable, and results-driven. I believe that every student learns differently, so I take the time to understand each learner’s strengths, weaknesses, and unique learning style. My lessons are interactive, full of real-life examples, and designed to turn even the most challenging topics — from Physics and Chemistry to Life Sciences, Mathematics and Maths Literacy — into something easy to grasp and fun to master.
I teach in English, Afrikaans, and Sesotho, which allows me to connect with students in the language they’re most comfortable with. This creates a safe, supportive space where students can ask questions freely without fear of judgment.
A typical lesson with me is friendly and engaging — we start by reviewing what the student already knows, then break new concepts down into simple, step-by-step explanations. I use practical exercises, quick quizzes, and fun memory tricks to make sure the work sticks. I’m patient, empathetic, and never rush my students — my goal is to build their confidence as much as their grades.
My lessons are perfect for Grade 7 to Grade 12 learners who want to improve their understanding, boost their marks, or prepare for important exams.
