About Nitya

Hi! I’m Nitya, a classically trained pianist with over 15+ years of experience, and I’ve been playing piano since the age of five. I completed all levels (1-8) of the Trinity College London piano exams, developing a strong technical foundation and deep appreciation for music that I now bring into my teaching. Whether you're a parent looking for an encouraging first teacher for your child, or an adult ready to fulfill a lifelong dream of playing piano, I tailor every lesson to make learning enjoyable, approachable, and meaningful.

About the lesson

In addition to casual lessons, I specialize in preparing students for the Trinity College London graded piano exams if wanted. I can guide you or your child through every step of the process, from learning the repertoire and technical work, to preparing for aural tests, sight reading, and even handling the registration process. I teach with a structured, goal-oriented approach that keeps students motivated and on track to pass exams with confidence. Whether you’re aiming for Grade 1 or working your way up to higher levels, I’m here to support your success every step of the way.
