About Iron
I’m a Senior Software Engineer with over 5 years of hands-on experience building and scaling production-grade applications using Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, Django, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL, among other modern technologies. Currently based in London, UK, I architect and deliver complex, full-stack solutions in the renewable energy space at OpenSolar — one of the leading platforms in the sector. Throughout my career, I have worked across startups and engineering teams to integrate third-party APIs, implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins, optimise web performance, and enforce secure development practices. I have also led cross-functional teams and mentored engineers on writing clean, modular, and scalable code across both frontend and backend systems. What sets my tutoring apart is my engineering-first approach to programming education. I don’t just teach syntax—I guide students through the software development lifecycle, including architecture planning, debugging strategies, API contract design, code review principles, version control workflows (Git), containerisation (Docker), and deployment to cloud platforms like AWS. Whether you're preparing for technical interviews, transitioning into a development role, or building your own software projects, I bring real-world technical depth, clarity of explanation, and professional mentorship to every session. My teaching is backed not only by my engineering background but also by a strong academic foundation in Information and Communication Technology (CGPA: 9.56/10) and a continuous passion for solving complex problems through code. If you're serious about mastering programming—especially in Python and JavaScript—and want to learn the skills that real engineers use every day, you're in the right place.

As a Senior Software Engineer with over 5 years of industry experience and a degree in Information and Communication Technology, I bring a real-world, hands-on approach to teaching programming. My goal is to make complex technical concepts accessible, engaging, and relevant—whether you're just getting started or looking to deepen your expertise. Teaching Techniques & Methodology I focus on project-based learning, where students gain experience by building real applications—from interactive websites using JavaScript to automation tools and APIs with Python. I use live coding sessions, debugging walkthroughs, and visual aids like flowcharts and diagrams to reinforce core programming concepts such as data structures, algorithms, OOP, and modern frameworks (e.g., ReactJS, Django, FastAPI). My lessons are highly interactive—students write code, ask questions, and get instant feedback. I tailor each lesson based on the student's goals, skill level, and learning pace, while emphasising clean coding practices, problem-solving, and practical application. Lesson Structure & Duration Typical lesson length: 60 to 90 minutes Each session includes: 1. Brief theory walkthrough 2. Hands-on coding exercises 3. Real-world examples and debugging practice 4. Optional challenges or mini-projects I've led engineering teams, developed complex web and cloud applications, and mentored junior engineers—experience I directly bring into my tutoring. Who Are These Lessons For? Levels: Beginners to advanced learners Ages: High school students, university students, professionals switching to tech, or junior developers seeking mentorship Focus Areas: 1. Fundamentals of programming 2. Web development (Frontend & Backend) 3. API design and cloud deployment 4. Interview preparation and coding challenges
