About Sara
As a Physician Assistant, I had to learn massive amounts of complex information quickly and apply it to real life. I believe this is my superpower! Using this skill, I now teach students how to study efficiently, synthesize massive amounts of data, and apply critical thinking rather than just memorizing facts.
My clinical background in Neurology, Cardiology, and rehabilitation therapies allows me to bring textbook anatomy and physics to life. I don't just help you pass the exam, I show you how these concepts function in a clinical setting. At 31, I have spent over two decades mastering the piano and my cultural roots in Hebrew studies. I bring the same discipline, structure, and patience required in medical practice to my math, science, music and language students of all ages, ensuring a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Outside of tutoring, what do I love to do? I have two super cute puppies, Jake and Roxy, who I love spending time with. I love being outside in nature, spending time with family and friends, and I am a massive foodie!

Hi, I’m Sara! I am a Certified Physician Assistant with a deep passion for teaching and a diverse academic background. Whether you are navigating elementary to college-level STEM, tackling advanced sciences, or looking to learn a new creative skill, I tailor my approach to meet you exactly where you are.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Cell Biology and Biotechnology (Minor in Genetics) and a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies, I have spent years mastering complex, rigorous material. Professionally, I specialize in Neurology, with additional medical experience spanning Cardiology, Physical Therapy, Vestibular Therapy, and Audiology. Because of this, I don't just teach from a textbook, I bring real-world, clinical context to advanced science concepts, making them easier to understand and retain.
Beyond the sciences, I love helping students develop well-rounded skills, offering foundational lessons in subjects I have practiced for decades.
Subjects Offered:
- Sciences (Elementary School to Graduate Level): Biology, Cell Biology, Genetics, Chemistry, Physics, Anatomy & Physiology, and Clinical Medical Sciences.
- Mathematics (Elementary School to College Level): Algebra, Precalculus, Statistics, Geometry, and Trigonometry.
- Specialized Studies: Basic Hebrew language, Judaic studies, and Bar/Bat Mitzvah preparation.
- Music: Beginner piano for all ages (having played for over 25 years!).
