About Jacob
As a dedicated music educator, I believe that learning the trumpet should be inspiring, enjoyable, and tailored to each student's individual journey. I work closely with every learner to identify their strengths, improve their technique, and build confidence through personalized instruction.
My lessons combine technical exercises, musical interpretation, listening skills, and performance coaching to create balanced musicians who are prepared for examinations, concerts, auditions, or recreational playing. I encourage students to remain curious, disciplined, and motivated while celebrating every achievement along the way.

My trumpet lessons combine technical precision with musical creativity to help students become confident performers in any musical setting. Lessons begin with essential fundamentals including posture, breathing, embouchure, articulation, rhythm, scales, note reading, and tone production before introducing flexibility training, range development, endurance, phrasing, dynamics, and expressive playing.
Advanced students receive instruction in orchestral repertoire, jazz improvisation, ensemble performance, solo literature, audition preparation, advanced articulation, and performance techniques. I also teach ear training, music theory, listening skills, and efficient practice methods that help students continue improving independently.
Every lesson is carefully planned to create a positive, motivating environment where students enjoy learning while achieving steady progress.
