About Ezedeen
Hi, I'm Ezedeen — an aspiring dentist currently on a gap year, with a genuine passion for teaching and bettering the community.
I achieved A*A*A at A-Level in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths. Alongside tutoring, I am working towards a career in dentistry, which has strengthened my organisation, communication and commitment to helping others succeed.
Teaching has been part of my life for years. I currently tutor A-Level and GCSE students privately and at a tuition centre. I've also volunteered running community lessons for children aged 6 to 9 and teaching English to less fortunate students — experiencing that has taught me how to explain difficult ideas clearly, patiently, and in a way that actually sticks.
Beyond the classroom, I've been trusted with real responsibility: as Medical & Dental Society Club Advisor in Sixth Form, Anti-Bullying Ambassador in Secondary School, and Health Ambassador in Primary School. I've also taken part in enrichment programmes including the K+ Dental Programme at King's College London — where I researched and presented on the sugar tax to dentists and professors — alongside UCL Project X and the Imperial College Medicine Convention.

All of my lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs. I plan every lesson in advance, ensuring there is always a clear focus and engaging work to complete.
During lessons, I share my interactive whiteboard and explain content step by step, asking questions throughout to check focus and understanding. I regularly use hand-drawn diagrams and visual resources to make difficult ideas easier to understand.
I begin by encouraging students to explain what they already know. This helps me identify any gaps or misconceptions, which we then work through together. My aim is to help students genuinely understand the content rather than simply memorise it, giving them the confidence to apply their knowledge in exams.
Lessons typically last 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours, with a short 5-minute break to help students stay focused.
I am a trained tutor with approximately three years of teaching experience. I achieved A*A*A at A level and 9/8s at GCSE in the subjects I teach. I am currently working towards becoming a dentist.
