About Christin

My teaching philosophy is rooted in a passion for education, particularly in the fields of medicine and life sciences. I am committed to utilising evidence-based teaching techniques to maximise student performance in both written exams, oral presentations and dissertations. My approach is not just about imparting knowledge; it's about inspiring students to challenge the status quo, generate new knowledge, and apply scientific inquiry to solve real-world health and societal problems. During my sessions, I ensure that learning preferences are carefully integrated into my teaching methods, fostering a safe space for students to express their scientific inquiries freely and to critically engage with scientific literature. About the lesson

Want to experience dynamic, evidence-based teaching tailored to real-world applications? My approach combines lectures, hands-on exercises, and critical discussions to boost comprehension and retention. I adapt my methods to accommodate individual learning styles, ensuring that every student can reach their academic aspirations. With over 17 years of distinguished academic contributions, I hold an MBBS, MRes, PhD, FRCOphth and certifications in Clinical Research, Healthcare Management and Leadership. I am credited with over 80 peer-reviewed publications, three book chapters, and principal investigator of three major grants. My vast teaching experience spans undergraduate and postgraduate levels, where I have successfully guided numerous students through medical and scientific subjects, with all my directly supervised Masters students achieving distinctions. Lessons begin with a complimentary session to assess your learning style, goals, and objectives. Based on your aspirations, I create a customised sequence of 60-minute lessons, strategically structured to maximise depth, focus, and interaction. This setup allows ample time for explanations, inquiries, and practical applications, all aimed at achieving your goals efficiently. My sessions are crafted for a broad spectrum of students. Whether you are an undergraduate seeking to master fundamental principles or a postgraduate delving into sophisticated medical and life science topics, my tailored lessons are designed to propel your academic and professional growth. I also specialise in providing support for degree dissertations.
